Ribbit Photography logo About Us
Ribbit Photography was created out of a passion for the natural world by the husband and wife team of John Sullivan and Monica Rua. John and Monica have spent many years travelling to fascinating parts of the world, always seeking out wild animals in their natural habitats. Along the way they got interested in photography and the rest is history. Through their photos, Ribbit Photography hopes to create enthusiasm for our natural world and promote its conservation.
John Sullivan has worked for years as a software engineer. He took up wildlife photography as a hobby and it quickly devoured what was left of his free time. Although he loves all animals, he is particularly interested in reptiles and amphibians. He has a combination life list, photo gallery, and notebook of reptile and amphibian species that he's seen in the wild and identified at www.wildherps.com. John with chuckwalla

Monica Rua's formal training was in computer science, but she followed her heart and switched to a career involving animals. She was Education Director of Happy Hollow Zoo in San Jose, CA for four years. Now, in addition to managing their photography business and taking photographs, Monica also helps run Animal Friends Rescue Project, a non-profit companion animal rescue organization in Pacific Grove, CA.
